beket.ai vs AthenaHQ: The Entry Plan That Doesn't Cover an Entry Audit

We built the same audit plan on both calculators. AthenaHQ's $295 Starter ran out of credits before the month did.

beket.ai and AthenaHQ comparison and pricing side by side

AEO tools sell you model count. Model count is not the number that matters.

The number that matters is responses analyzed. That is prompts times models times run days. It is the only figure that tells you how much you actually see.

Most pricing pages hide it. So we ran the math.

The test

We built the same plan twice. Once on AthenaHQ’s calculator. Once on ours.

The plan: 100 prompts. One site. Three models. That is the smallest real audit a business would run.

Then we compared what each platform charges to run it.

What AthenaHQ costs

AthenaHQ’s calculator sets cadence at three days a week. That works out to 3,897 responses analyzed per month. Each response costs one credit. So the plan needs 3,897 credits.

AthenaHQ Starter is $295 USD a month. It includes 3,600 credits.

The plan is short by 297 credits.

AthenaHQ’s own guidance covers this. Starter includes 3,600 credits. Add roughly 297 extra credits as a paid add-on on top of Starter, or move up to Enterprise for 8,000 or more included credits.

So the entry plan does not cover an entry audit. You pay $295, then you pay again.

What beket.ai costs

Same plan. 100 prompts. Three AI platforms. One site.

We run it daily, not three days a week. That is 9,000 responses analyzed per month.

It costs $99 USD a month. No add-ons.

Where AthenaHQ wins

Seats. AthenaHQ gives unlimited seats on paid plans. We give 10, and unlimited on enterprise.

If you are a large agency with 40 people who all need logins, that matters. Weigh it.

Where the gap is widest

MCP. AthenaHQ does not have it. We include it on the free plan.

MCP lets you pull your audit data into Claude, into Cursor, into whatever you already use. You ask questions in plain language. You get answers from your own data. No dashboard tab. No export.

API access is the same story. AthenaHQ charges extra for it on paid plans. We include it.

How to compare any AEO tool

Ignore the model logos on the pricing page. Do this instead.

Find the prompt count. Find the run cadence. Multiply them by the model count. That gives you responses analyzed per month.

Compare that number against the price. Then compare it against the included credits.

If a pricing page will not give you the prompt count, that is the finding.

AI space is convoluted enough, AEO/GEO should be plain and simple.
